Evaluasi Implementasi Program Sholat Dhuha sebagai Instrumen Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Peserta Didik di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat

This research evaluates the implementation of the Dhuha prayer program as an instrument for developing discipline character in students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat. Discipline is one of the fundamental values needed in education to shape students into responsible individuals. The Dhuha prayer program was chosen as a religious-based approach to instill discipline through habituation. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of students, teachers, and school principals involved in the Dhuha prayer program. The results showed that the implementation of the Dhuha prayer program positively contributed to the formation of student discipline character. This was reflected in the improvement of time discipline, adherence to school rules, responsibility, and focus in learning. Supporting factors included support from the school, adequate facilities, teacher guidance, and parental involvement. However, there were obstacles such as students' lack of awareness, limited time, and peer influence. This research concludes that the Dhuha prayer program is effective as a strategy for developing discipline character in elementary school students.
