Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a child-friendly environment at SD IT Raissalam. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, while the data collection technique in this study is a direct observation technique in the field. The results of the observation show that SD IT Raissalam has implemented various indicators of a child-friendly school, such as the availability of adequate facilities (trash cans in each class, fans, and personal lockers), as well as daily programs such as lunch together, naps, and congregational prayers. In addition, the absence of a canteen is a form of controlling children's food consumption to stay healthy and safe. The results of this study indicate that SD IT Raissalam has created a school environment that supports children's comfort, health, and character formation as a whole.
